Which fender badge?
 

I am replacing my fender badges. I was going to do a black 5.0, but then I found the old school red 5.0 badge. Opinions wanted! The high performance is questionable, but it looks so vintage. Very unique. I have a race red car. Let me know what you think.

Black 5.0 hands down

I prefer stock...but the red emblem with the "high performance" part carefully removed might look great on a Race Red machine.

I want to make all of the chrome on the car black. Which means the 5.0, pony and gas cap. I guess I could just save money and keep them chrome. I tried plasti dipping the gas cap. I will never touch plasti dip again.

I think you should get the Hydrocarbon 5.0 emblems from JLT... I just got mine the other day, just haven't had a chance to swap em out...

Yes we do! We offer the Coyote Side badges in black with white "Coyote" text. Personally I like that look better than the chrome. It's a very mean looking badge.

I think this might look nice on a decklid panel possibly. Not sure if I want them on my SG fenders yet.

I'd say the black 5.0, would pull the accent from the back rims and stay classy with original.

How much does JLT rape you for those CF 5.0 badges?

I think I paid $75, and I haven't even put them on yet... I don't think I'd call it "rape" but it is a little steep...

I like the black 5.0 badges, but dont get the cheap ones from blue oval. Bought some for my gt and they were terrible. They are plastic and the finish has waves, discoloring etc. I will probably try the UPR billett black ones.

So the pair for $20 on eBay is a no go??

That's the one I have. I got mine for $48 (normal retail is $135). :)

These are the ones I like. Are the adhesive or bolt throught the same holes as the 5.0's? Thanks

They're stick-on, and I think they'll cover the existing holes.

Just to help out blue oval used to have a black vinyl wrap around the 5.0 badges they were selling. Sonia you bought them a couple months ago they probably look fine, I had some on my old GTCS. The ones they are selling now have no cover and are just the plastic, that's why it was said in a previous post that they look swirled and cheap.

American Muscle just got black 5.0 emblems in stock... I figure I would give it a shot, I ordered the gloss black... anyone got their hands on these yet?? Hopefully the quality is good

I have the ones from another company, same badges, i like um alot.
