Although the gap is not so noticeable on a Black car.
He needs the bumper to complete the look. The gap bugs me.

Agree 100%. I'm too OCD to let that slide. Must be done right or not at all.

C'mon AmericanMuscle....let's get crackin' on a replica set for the 2010-12's!!
I'd even be ok with a "bezel or trim ring" kit that took up the gap difference to hide it!

Hey guys, just got an email today from AM practically confirming the release of a 2013 tail light for 05+ in the next 2-3 months!

I just bought a used 2012 Boss and would love to put 2013 lights on the caboose! I don't think having a tail light kit that keeps that groove intact while being a 2013 style would be that great. One of the great things about the 2013 rear fascia is the simple horizontal shape, no weird triangular dip and angles.

Might be pretty easy to buy one of the bezels AM has and modify it to fit the gap but you'd still have to buy the $900 lights though

I am suprised I have not seen this done yet?
I layed some plastidip down on the top of the rear bumper just below the trunk lid to see what it looked like....
it lessens the "angle" appearance of the taillights I think!

Very creative! How does it look when you are closer to the area?

Didnt get a closer picture....I have since removed it when I installed the Raxiom lights!

If AM ever gets thier but in gear and releases the '13 style lights, I will do the mod again in CF to match the decklid.

That's pretty cool. It's so subtle but it really changes how it looks

I'm gonna wait to see what the AM 13 retrofits look like. Then I'll make my decision. I don't hate the 11/12 lights.

HURRY UP AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
