success stories for the 6?

Interesting, I wonder if anyone has tried this and how much you would gain from it. This is a good find tho especially since us V6 guys can't get a intake manifold like the 5.0s can.

 

I have their P&P heads and intakes on my 95. They are expensive but their work is great. I think I gain about 30-35HP (dont remeber) with switching over the heads and intakes.

You guys think I would gain anything from just doing the intake manifold right now? Really not trying to tear a new motor apart to do the lower. I still have some of my warranty

 

Probably wont see much gains from just the upper. Normally you would see the real gains from combo of upper, lower, and heads.

If the intake isn't an impediment to flow then little if any gain will be realized unless the porting corrects turbulent airflow in some fashion and even then such gains would be small.

The whole flow path needs to be considered when your looking at something like this.

 

My upper and lower was ported by Lone Wolf (buildingsleeper). They make a pretty nice difference.
