Hey folks, Question, how can I find out which model of transmission is in my 2010 Mustang V6 Manual 5 speed? I've been doing some window shopping for a short throw shifter and it's not very clear as to which one will actually fit my car. I see a lot for V8's but not much specific to the V6. The reason I'm considering this is because mine feels a little worn, very hard to get it into first and second sometimes. Are there any that you would recommend? Any help is appreciated, thanks. -Dave

 

Sooo, I checked the door tag on my Mustang and under "TR" the only thing listed is "F" ??? What does this mean?

 

I did some diging for you and it looks like the 2010 mustang 4.0L v6 came equipped with the Borg Warner/Tremec T5.
