Grill Question
 

I know the GT front bumper is required to properly mount a Gt style grill, but i have seen it mounted on a v6 bumper. (2011) If any one has done/attempted this, how hard is it? how much cutting / ghetto modifications are needed?

I've done this.

2013-2014 Bumpers are different than 2011-2012 Bumpers.

You can fit a 11-12 GT Grille on a 11-12 V6

And you can fit a 13-14 GT Grille on a 13-14 V6 as well.

However, you can't put a 11 GT Grille on a 14 V6 because the bumpers are different.

You can not fit a 11-12 GT grill on an 11-12 V6 bumper. If you really want to do this but don't want to buy a GT bumper, you can cut the grill off your V6 bumper, and attach a GT grill surround and grill using epoxy and body filler. I haven't done this personally, but I've heard it's not too hard. Just take your time with it.

I put a 14 gt grille on my 14 v6. It was a direct fit, no modifications needed.

Yeah we 2010-12 guys have it somewhat tougher in terms of interchangeable parts. 😕
