That looks great! Tremendous job. I never thought about dying the stitching. I want green stitch

Looks good. Did you have the door inserts professionally done ? I've been wanting to change mine but fear the cost and hassle of removing the old ones.

Fancy Chrome foot pedal covers that come with the premium models. Standard on the GT500.

They replace the plain factory black boring ones.

That's pretty sad that they don't put those in every mustang, because what would be the cost 5.00 - 10.00 dollars.

Back to subject at hand. You have me excited about changing my tan panels to black.

Any tips to look out for? Did the spray dye run anywhere on you? Did it get everywhere? What tape did you use to mask off?

Took the door panels off laid flat tape off with blue painters tape make sure to cover the opening for the door pull. Also covered the whole door panel with paper so not to get over spray took 5 coats to cover from black to red

I did the same to my stock interior a while back but, instead of red, went graphite, painted the door inserts, rear speaker area, center console and radio bezel. I also installed a Sherwood dash kit These base models really shine up well and for a lot less than the premium fit
