Hi I have a stang and I would like to put cutouts in front of the catalytic converter‘s to be able to have it straight from the engine or stock quiet, has anyone done that or knows the best way to do that?

 

You do realise there is not enough room to go before the cats and the car will not run with the O2's cut out of the system. You might think of doing it further down the system and remember with the V6 the louder it is the more like excrement it sounds. Right where you want to cut in is where the upstream O2's are and there is body motor and/or transmission in the way.

 

yep, as far as I know, cut-outs are always downstream of the cats . . . and loud is not always good, especially with the V6
