Thanks Sam, I appreciate your insight. I may switch to Ultralites anyway, as it may give me a little more wiggle room to effectively fit a 295 out back.

Do you have thoughts on any other potential downfalls, like for example, the sway bars? I would think the Brembo suspension bits would be adequate? I'd also say that about the LCAs, but everyone seems hell bent on replacing those too.

Subscribed. What would be a good drag shock, strut, spring combo yet still not too soft for a DD?

What a good thread. Can't wait to get my ultralites and strts on now!

Looking into buying a used set of Koni Yellows / Steeda Sports with the Steeda HD mounts, for my '13 ... guess they're the 05-10 Konis with about 10k miles on them ... it seems that it would be an awesome set-up for me, which don't drag race, don't track the car in any other way, but love to attack on-/off-ramps and kinda dislike the somewhat bumpy stock ride of the Brembo pkg ...

Am I right?

Also, with 10k miles on the set-up, how much life is left in those parts?

My car has about 7k miles on it and I don't really want to have to replace suspension parts anytime soon (cuz they wore out)

You need to talk to Jay at hypermotive performance. He may give you a deal that will make you reconsider buying used

Thanks guys! Blair, do you want an adjustable set of shocks and struts? A good set of drag springs that you can DD is BMR hands down, both the tokicos and Koni yellows would allow enough adjustment to effectively run at the track and DD your car. I've always enjoyed Koni, they're proven, have great customer service and carry a lifetime warranty when you buy new...

I have hardly any knowledge about shocks and struts. Hell, took me 8 hours to add spacers to my truck to level it LOL. Needless to say I didn't have the right tools though. Anyways, these adjustable shocks and struts would allow me to change the firmness of the suspension?
