Great info on the driveshaft pros and cons.
Just thought I would add some I just found out today.
spoke to the local Speed shop/performance guy in my town today and he is totally in favor of the 1 piece driveshaft. His logic is very simple it reduces weight, adds about 7 rear wheel HP, is an easy mod and improves throttle response due to weight reduction and torsional mass reduction.
Now, HE IS A RACER and we all know that racers are far more interested in HP than comfort or noise or cost, speed is the the thing and if that is what you are after, the 1 piece is the ticket.
He does not believe the NVH is excessive and actually said it is less than a change of LCA's and he has installed numerous 1 Piece Driveshafts.
Basically, it is speed enhancing.

My 03 Cobra had an aluminum ds. It had some clunks when shifting an even gentle acceleration, felt like a lash in the driveline. This was common on those cars. I wonder I'd the carbon fiber piece reduces this.
