is a tune on a manual worth it.

Had a tune on a 07 auto and it made what I though was a big difference. I guess a lot of that was the different shift points and pressure. I never dynoed it. Anyone have experience with a tune on a manual, any commentary would be appreciated.

I have a Steeda cai and their 93 octane tune on my 2011 GT with the six speed manual and it made a noticeable difference. It disabled the skip shift feature, raised the rev limiter a bit, and the car seems to rev faster than before.

I like the idea of getting rid of the skip shift.

That was the main reason I did it. I picked the cai and SCT tuner up as a bundle when it was on sale. It was quite a bit cheaper than buying separately. The cai flows enough additional air to make a difference in sound. You can hear the air rushing in. Oh one more thing on the tune, it also removes the top speed limiter if you ever think you need to go faster than the 150 or so the car is limited at from the factory.

i have the steeda combo also and it DEFINITELY makes a difference, more power and stronger pull right to redline without falling off!
