I thought I'd check with other tri ax owners. My car has some transmission whine in second gear only. I am ok with it if it's part of using this shifter. I'm a bit worried I installed it improperly. No other issues. Is this normal?

Hello Mr. V,

There is really nothing in the installation that would cause any noise.

So it is most likely in the transmission.

So a small update. I changed my transmission fluid to royal purple. The sound is gone. It's pretty amazing. If you have an gear noise in your after market shifter, I'd try this fix.
