Stall for daily driver?
I was looking into buying a cricle d 4400 stall for my 2011 gt and courious if this would maintain the cars drivability. Also wanted to know what kind of installation fee I would be looking at. I think after this I should be able to beat this gtr i see around town

4400 is a lot for a daily driver although after it gets in 3rd gear it will lockup and then it will be just like the stock converter.
Low speed in 1st and 2nd will be sluggish compared to stock.
If you can handle that then it's no problem for a daily driver.

My supercharged 07 GT was my daily driver for 4.5 years and I ran a 4,800 rpm stall converter. Very driveable, and incredible at the dragstrip. Fuel economy around town took a hit, but freeway mileage (full lock-up converter) was decent (about 23 mpg).

I think there has been a automatic car in the 11's with only simple bolt-ons.

We ran 11.64 today, stock trans, stock converter. 4.10 gears, off-road xpipe, JLT CAI/Bama 93 Race tune, Boss Intake Manifold, MT slicks / skinnies on Racestar wheels. Stock tubular exhaust manifolds....
We ran 10.43 today with all of the above plus 150 shot of nitrous.
Converter isn't NEEDED until this point, however a good streetable stall on this trans would be like mid-3000's. 3500-3800 is still streetable, because this is a 6 speed with a steep 1-2. There are alot of definitions of "streetable" too... Streetable or comfortable?

The manifold is really awesome. It's a trade-off... low end/mid range for top end. We find that it works really well for us since we're using nitrous. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone not going with some sort of power adder at some point.
It does make the whole powerband alot smoother. I would put it on the car if I was going with a power adder even if it was going to be 6 months. You can't really feel the low-mid range loss with the right tune anyway.
