Rims

Ok I hope someone can help me with this, I have a 2011 mustang gt and I just bought 4 new rims 19×9.5 with a +40 offset. My question is will these fit on my front and if so any tire size options. I was thinking of 255×35×19 or I actually own 4 245×45×19. Just looking for some advice

I have a 2014 Track Pack Mustang with the big brakes. If you have the Brembo brakes you may have issues with only a 40mm offset, you will have to try them to see if they clear. Other than that I am running 20x9.5 with a +45 offset. The tires I am running are 275/35R20 Cooper RS3s on all four corners. These are the Roush optional rims & tires. The car also has the Roush suspension upgrade which includes springs with a 1.5 inch drop. All is good, no issues here. I am sure there is a steering stop kit installed on mine with the suspension mods to prevent the tires from rubbing on a tight turn.

I think you should be fine going to 255s and may be able to go wider. I believe you can go up to 285s with 9.5 rims
