Question about long tubes....?
 

So I'm putting the build together on paper and looking at headers.

I Want long tubes... I'm stuck between ARH and Kooks. I've noticed that the Kooks collector is above the turn to go under the car and the ARH has each individual runner with a turn and then merges into the collector and goes under the floorboard.

Any advantage/disadvantage to a kink in the individual runner?

Any advantage/disadvantage to having the collector above the turn for the floorboard?

Price seems about the same. So the power is more than likely going to be the deciding factor.

I think you will get more power from the Kooks since they are equal length and not really long tubes, but the fitment may be a little bit of an issue if you do it yourself, think about that also.

The Kooks being a mid length equal length design are harder to install. Especially the 1 7/8. Both will make about the same in power though and both are a good quality. You can't go wrong with either one.

Vasser, I sent you a PM. We're currently running the Kooks on our Boss and will concur that the install was a PITA but the fitment is perfect.

You put any thought into stainless works?? I got a set from jay and I loooooooooooove them! Install was pretty straight forward and they're a good quality set...

Were you able to keep the side exhaust and cats on the Boss?

Yessir, kooks has a pretty sweet system out. Its not pictured but you can use either the stock side pipes or their side pipes.

Well that's just plain sexy right there...
