Paxton or Vortech
Both are from the same company ( V
Airpower owns both companies). The kits are about identical, with the exception that the Paxton has a larger head unit for more potential upgrade power. I went with Vortech and the blackout kit...664 HP

Yea thats the one I was eyeing but they say the max hp you can get is 775 I think and the novi 2200 can go over 1000..
775 is a lot. I'm currently 677whp which is about 775. While trying to do a pulley swap we were at 700 at 6800rpm but fuel pressure began to drop significantly. Point being, go novi if you really want that much but be prepare to build your block, add a fuel system, upgrade clutch, upgrade ds, upgrade suspension, etc. not trying to talk you into one or the other, just throwing it out there.

Only reason is that I havent heard anything good about pro chargers on the 5.0s, all I hear is vortech and paxton.. theres 3 paxton 5.0, 1 pro charger (585rwhp) and 1 roushed car s where I live. 2 of the paxton cars are low tens high 9 sec cars
Werd! The kit looks sick! How does it perform and did you do the install? What other mods do you have, cost, etc...?
Vortec makes a better blower. Paxton will probably make a little more power but vortec makes a longer lasting blower and hardware system. If I had a pretty much full race car, I would use Paxton though. Vortec for a street car.
Runs really well...almost like stock for driveability. You'd never know you had lots of xtra power until you get your right foot going Southbound. Then it becomes a completely different animal. I had a forced induction specialist do the install...was a little over a grand. I would suggest you also add the Vortech boost a pump and open element air cleaner kit like I did. The blackout kit is nearly impossible to see from the outside cause the charge cooler is blacked out, too...just looks like the radiator...ha ha. With the hood closed you really dont have blower noise, either. Grandma could drive the car all day longhand never ok plain...unless she floors it
