Opinions on buying Procharger

Just looking to get some opinions are where or who to buy procharger stage II charger for my mustang from?

Even if you do the install yourself buy the kit from a shop who does installations - American Muscle, Evolution Performance, Brenspeed, etc.....

Some try to save a few dollars and buy the kits online at "parts" websites but don't call those people looking for help.

I like this kit: http://www.evoperform.com/shop/index...oducts_id=1149

When I was shopping for the same Procharger Stage 2 Kit, Anerican Muscle had the best pricing.

Evolution Performance would be my choice. Those guys really know their stuff and provide great customer service.

Yeah my plan is definitely to get form well known company that also does the tunes. I was thinking american muscle because you get 3 tunes, updates, etc... Was also looking to lethal performance too for the lund cammed tune.

FYI, American muscle & Evo offer free shipping. Lethal wants like $110 for shipping.

Recently I've been reading about guys having issues with American Muscle tunes.

Any reviews on lethal performance? I dont mind paying the price if the product is worth it!

Great customer service. Fast shipping. Decent pricing. Go with Lethal or Evolution. Good luck.

Just ordered that kit(procharger stage 2) from evolution today. Fred cook helped out a lot, made sure I got what I was looking for. Good guy to deal with. Price was right on with everywhere else too.

What Stage II unit did you order? Post pics after the install please!

I will with #'s. I got the evo 775 hp kit and upgraded to the d1sc and a kb 40 amp bap. Told him that down the road I wanna build the motor and add boost so went with that package. It's gonna be tuned down to run 9lbs for now. He told me just to stay under 10lbs to be on the safe side. I'm in Chicago though so by the time this is done I won't have much time to play with it though. Still can't wait:)

Currently have stainless works 1 7/8 w/ offroad, magna comp catback, steeda cai that I'll b looking to sell, an evo 93 tune, steeda tri-ax, dynomax aluminum ds, steeda lca's, uca w/ link, adjustable panhard & panhard brace, ford racing diff cover, and mt et streets

BlackMamba03 10/13/11 08:23 PM

I'm gonna be going with the Stage II F-1C kit and probably run 12-15 pounds of boost on a built L&M motor. Going for the ultimate street machine.

That'll b amazing. I couldn't dive into the f units. Fred said with those I'd b running a minimum of 13 lbs and I'm not planning on building the motors for a couple years anyway. Good luck though, that thing will be crazy

I just got my Vortech put on my '12 GT and I absolutely love it! Nearly no delay and tons of power!

Couldn't you run an inlet restrictor to keep the boost down? I resticted my old 'vette motor to 9 lbs on a 12 lb pulley by using a restrictor.

BlackMamba03 10/24/11 10:24 AM

I'd rather just run the boost I want. I'm going with a built motor so I'm not worried.
