Need some help with torque

I got myself some Roush axle backs today and I love them. The only drawback is the minor loss in torque. I was thinking that a after-cat X-pipe would pick it back up, but I have no idea how that would sound. Thoughts?
Any ideas how one would go about getting back those lost Ft/Lbs besides the X-pipe? I really didn't want to go too crazy with the exhaust as I like the setup. I also want to avoid drone wherever possible. Thanks guys.

I've never heard of losing torque from installing an axle back. Did you quantify it with 0-60 or 1/4 mile runs?

Me neither, and if you did lose some low end torque there's no way it was enough that you can feel it

For one I doubt you lost any torque. Secondly an x pipe will probably help you in the upper range of rpms but would add very little down low. Besides that most seem to find the Roush ab's obnoxious with an x pipe.

I am using the "butt" dyno lol. I dunno, it just feels like the car has less punch when engaging 1-2. But, I am willing to accept that it may be my imagination.
Does anyone have an example of what the Roush+X-pipe sounds like?

You shouldn't lose anything with them. Here they are with Long Tubes, Off Road X, and a BAMA Cam tune. It is catastrophically loud, but I swear I get compliments every where I go and a thumbs up about every 30 seconds while driving.

Agree, sounds awesome! That CAM lope is crazy...is it idling on it's own or does it need help?

Ahhh I can't wait for spring!
I have the same setup, except kooks headers
I've started it a couple times in the garage but its just not the same.
The bama came tune w/o cats is definitely wicked
