MGW on it's way

I just got off the phone with MGW and my shifter is on it's way, it will be at my door on Thursday and in the car that night, now all I'm waiting on is my GHIG shifter ball from CJPP's, and that should be here the beginning of the month.

Man has the mod bug bitten me hard. I just have to remeber to pay my bills while I still have money in the bank account.

Awesome Lee. That is the shifter to go with, hands down. :nice:

You will love the MGW shifter - I had mine installed last Friday and it's been nothing but amazing since!

DinoDoc Sep 24, 2013 10:24 PM

I'm actually looking forward to laying under the car and installing the shifter. I am really enjoying working on my car, it's been so long since I have owned a vehicle that was as responsive to mods as the mustang is. My 2000 Lightning was a great truck and I do still miss owning it. And I'm sure just about everyone here has sold a vehicle and regretted it for years to come. Well all is good in the universe once again now that I have Stella (that's what I named her).:metal:

Excellent choice! Give it about 300-500 miles to fully break in and you'll love it even more. Installed mine with a help of a friend as my tool gopher in about 3 hours taking my time.

Yep - you will absolutely love the MGW! Now pay those bills before you do something silly like order shocks/springs/struts/exhaust/forced induction!!

Lee, when you get the GHIG Roush shifter ball, can you post pics of it please? I think I want one of those to match the interior. Thanks in advance man! :nice:

Thanks Lee, I appreciate it. I think it will look great as well.
I have the Roush Stage 3 premium interior with the suede/leather seating and GHIG stitching and the GHIG shifter ball would set it off in my opinion. :metal:

I ended up waiting until today to install the shifter, I took my time and watched the video and installing it at the same time. I think the hardest step was getting that **** rubber boot stretched over the shifter and in place, I broke a sweat doing that. But man was it worth it, the shifter has such a great positive and firm feel. I could tell from the first time moving the shift that it's going to be next to impossible to miss a shift. What a great design.

Now I just have to wait for a few more days for the finishing touch, the GHIG shifter ball

Stage 3 as promised here is a pic of the new shifter knob installed. I did have to cancel my order with CJPP due to the fact they kept extending the shipping date on me, so I called www.speeddawg.com and they had this one in stock. So here she is in all her glory.

DinoDoc Oct 2, 2013 06:47 PM

Speeddawg.com makes tons of different colors and yes they make one to match even the krona blue cars, even if they are way slower then the GHIG's ..... LOL

Just kidding, I know you just put a blower on your ride. Nice car by the way
