meineke incinerator muffler

I went to an exhaust shop aka meineke to get a quote on install of different mufflers for my car. At the end they tried to say the incinerator mufflers were good but I know nothing about them. Do any of you guys/girls know if they are good or not? I don't know if they even make incinerator mufflers for my car or not the shop just said I should get them.

Dude....GT500s, FTMFW....under 300 bucks, installs in your driveway direct bolt-in under 1/2 an hour. Even comes with aligment tabs and tack-welded band clamps for easy install.

Your car will sound like the Bullitt Mustang afterwards.

I'm not a dude and I've been hearing more about roush mufflers than GT500's.

The GT500s are pretty popular.

From my research it's (just axlebacks)

(just axlebacks)
1) Borla S
2) GT500
3) Roush
4) Everything else

Are you just getting the axlebacks or going catback or full exhaust?

aah ok. But for now just axlebacks?

Have you seen this thread? https://themustangsource.com/f800/20...-clips-487106/

I like Borla S the most. It's loud but not ridiculous and there's no drone.

No I didn't see that thread. Manly just made this one to see if anyone knew about the mufflers I was told about. Other than that I'm looking at American muscle to see what mufflers and stuff they have. I'm thinking a straight through type of muffler for my 5.0.

I would chime in to say the Flowmaster Outlaw sound really good. You get some drone in the usual places but at I think half the cost of the Borlas.

I'd steer clear of that place. Many affordable options out there that are great quality and sound amazing. Gt500, roush, stainless works, bassani, ect. However, your car and your money.

I agree - I'm happy with my gt500's - but there are a few on here who loved their gt500's but upgraded to borlas and love them even more. for under $300 you can't beat the gt500's in my mind.

GT500s will give u a nice bump up on volume & tone from stock. When u add full exhaust later they will sound amazing without the super loud NASCAR sound. That way u only have to buy axle backs once.

Recommendation for a Borla S-Type here. It's a little expensive, but the sound you get is worth it (first mod). If you want something louder and raspier, the Atak system is available.

Borla s-type. Your gas mileage will go down, because you cant get enough of that sound.
