Hi Darren... I have not dynod the car yet, but I posted the sheets of some other cars on the first page. Also talking to Magnuson directly, it sounds like numbers are around 520-530 at the wheels with their Maggie tune.

Been in the middle of nowhere Afghanistan, that's where. The Mistress is tucked away in the garage until I return. I would too. I just got the word from my wife that she thinks I should get a Harley next. I agreed but I have to wait till I get done in Europe and return to the states.

Had a blast today... drove 2 hours (what a fun drive to see the sun rise) to Des Moines. It was my first long drive since I installed the Maggie. It was 5:45 am upon departure, and the 50 degree air was perfect I finally got to open her up. Wow. I had it on cruise in 6th going 79. Down shifted (was it necessary? lol) to 4th and stepped on it, in a snap I was doing 100 in a split second. Never felt that rush before. A car pulled up beside me after that, and gave me a huge grin and thumbs up. Lol.

I went to meet Bob Kurgan and see him in action, tuning several Mustangs on the Karl Performance Dyno today. Part of the meet was the final cars and coffee event at the same location. Lots of great looking cars. I got to see the C7 in person (red and blue), and several great looking mustangs. I'd say, of the 20 or so mustangs there, at least 15 were blown or turbo'd. Insane...

I talked to Kurgan as well. Nice guy. They've been tuning all day since yesterday I guess. I was hoping to get on the dyno to verify some numbers. Unfortunately, the dyno's were full today, and I had to schedule a session far in advance. Lesson learned, will do it for April session next year. At that time, I'll probably opt for a smaller pulley, a custom CAI, and a custom dyno tune from Kurgan. Apparently he's one of the best, similar to Justin Starkey at VMP. So much for me being happy with my "stock" setup lol. We'll see if I go with a custom tune/pulley change. Kurgan did tell me that my current setup should see around 520 - 550whp... that should be around 650 crank. I'm ok with that.

Lastly, it was great meeting Sean (MJJ tag here on forum) and Jim (not sure if on this forum - but owns a 2014 Shelby). Beautiful cars guys! Sean, your 04 White Terminator is to die for. I need a ride sometime. Same with you Jim, thanks for letting me oogle all over your Shelby... lol. Someday. Sean, we need to meet up for that cruise on 10/27... also, I'll be getting Kurgan to tune me next year.

I have unsubsribe to this thread because are just driving me crazy. It's great that you're having WAY too much fun with Maggie though.
Be careful when going over the speed limit. I'm still hurting from my last drive to NH. >20 mph over is more than $300. The "nice" state trooper just put me at 15 mph over the speed limit.

Yeah when I said 100 I meant 100 seconds, not mph . Sssssh. Luckily Iowa is flat and can see for endless miles lol

But yes Phil, I won't stop talking about it till you get one

And maybe I'll just drive down so we can install it together. At least I know that the install will done right. And the drive back will be insane.

Been missing driving her last couple of days. Hopefully I get to today. It's been 3 weeks since install and loving every moment of it. To add to that, I just found out my quote is featured on their item webpage now too!!! Magnuson FTW!!! Lol

Driving her in the cooler 40 to 50 degree temps, definitely has its ups. It feels like I have 50 extra ponies, lol. Don't verify that tho

I did notice that perhaps the SC setup/tune/etc doesn't like initial cold temps, until at least it warms up. The throttle seems to be much more sensitive to input, even when keeping revs down. I wonder why that is. I guess I don't really drive my car in cold temps that often, so it could perhaps be a recurring theme. Anyone else notice that? Once warmed up, she's ready to roll though.

Might have to store her here by end of the month :'(

It's been about 6 months since I installed the Maggie on Marilyn. I'd say I've been driving her about 1 month out of those 6. I've put about 500 miles on her I'd say. Let me just say, it's been a total blast. Kudos to magnuson for such a great quality kit. Also a fantastic box tune from their in house tuner. The throttle response is immediate with very little lag. Pair that Maggie with 305 drag radials? It's insane.

I still haven't gotten her dyno'd, but hopefully next time I'm in Des Moines for a car show.

I just took my wife for a spin during our date last night, as she's never been in the car since I installed the Maggie plus the drag radials. Let's just say she punched me in the side gut a few times

Again, fantastic kit from magnuson. I'm very satisfied.

Thanks for the update. Now I want a SC even more since the only thing I get from my wife is a stare and followed by a lot of yelling. LOL
Next time Burton, wear a Kevlar vest.

It's always fun to read up on your SC exploits
If I don't buy a SC with 4 wheels and stripes already attached to it next year, I'll have a years worth of Magnusson and whipple reviews to help me choose one for 'Latifah' LOL

Get lower grille delete 1st Darren. At least it comes with SC radiator bracket already.

LOL i dunno what I was thinking. i never name my cars, but that one did come to mind for a minute. I'll go back to calling her 'my car'

Burton,

Did your Maggie come with some kind of intercooler that you would benefit from a lower grille delete?
