F14's

So I'm looking to purchase the RTR's soon. I know they're 19x9.5. They will work just fine until I decide to put a supercharger on. At that point I'm going to purchase the Forgestar F14's. I'm thinking that 19x10 fronts and 19x11 in the rear will work. My question is, what offsets should I get?

I don't want that big of wheels while I'm N/A. No need until I'm running a supercharger.

Do yourself a favor and buy the f14s. I made the same mistake even though I love my rtr's, but i need a drag radial since installing the whipple so I went with 20x9 and 20x11 f14s with 315/35/20 nitto nt05r drag radials. The new wheels as per forgestar will be even lighter than the rtr's as well.

Well I'm going to be going N/A for awhile becasue I want to do some tracking so I don't need the big F14's until I install my blower. The RTR's are going to be my street rims while I'll have a seperate set of 18's just for tracking. The F14's are a big turn on for me because of how light they are. Pretty excited.

Couple questions about your set up. First, are you running the drag radials on the street or not? What are you running for fronts? Also, like the guy above me, are your rears rubbing? Those are huge tires.....

No as long as your offset is right, it won't. Evolution has a car with my same suspension, same wheels and tires running nines on them n they don't hit either. I am running dr out back with nitto nt05 front tires. My car doesn't get driven often so I will run dr all the time.

I think I've settled on 19x9.5F and 19x11R F14's. They're actually going to be cheaper than the RTR's. I wonder what my offsets will be seeing as how Forgestar doesn't release that information. Each wheel is made for a specific car.

Even with a blower, I'm still planning on running street tires. 275's up front and 305's in the rear.

How much do these f14's run? Just curious and I'm too lazy to research it right now.

I'm thinking of 19x9.5 front and 19x11 rears when I go the F14 route. Interested to find out where you're getting them from and prices, if you don't mind.

For all of you interested in these wheels, check out this website. Has prices and the offsets offered for 2011+ Mustangs. Doesn't have ALL the options on the site that the Forgestar site says but it has a decent amount of them.

**IMPORTANT**

Just got done talking with a member on the SVTPerformance forum about these wheels. He has been in contact with Forgestar and they are NOT able to make the 19x9.5 wheels work for the 2011+ Mustangs.

I just got done emailing Forgestar myself asking them what will work for our cars. Hope to hear back from them soon!

I misread the numbers. The F14's are a little more expensive but well worth it. They're alot lighter in weight and you have a wider range of sizes. I wish the RTR's had larger sizes but they don't.

Any word on why the 19x9.5 doesn't work for the Mustang?

I'm still waiting on an email back from Forgestar. I read on the SVTPerformance forum that they don't work because they can't get the offsets right but then I talked to another guy on the same forum and he ordered a set of 19x9.5's and 19x11's 10 weeks ago and is still waiting. Kinda confusing. I hopeing to hear back from Forgestar today or tomorrow.

They are custom built to order so I don't see why they couldn't get it right
