Exhaust question???

My current setup is just the hushpower axle back which i like but i think is just a bit too quiet. My question is has any one removed just the resonators on the stock H-pipe. If so, how did it sound? Did it throw any codes? Any help would be awesome. I want to do this i am just scared it will sound like crap or throw codes.

From what I have heard, removing the resonators doesn't make the car noticeably louder, but it does drastically reduce the quality of the sound. A lot more ping-y. Perhaps consider selling your hushpower - they are quite popular.

Do you have any droning with these?

And how much louder would you say these are compared to stock?

Have you consider just adding an x-pipe that uses the existing cats? Magnaflow and Corsa have them and it should make your exhaust noticeable louder. From what I've heard, they are easy to install and will bolt on to existing stock pipes whether you have Magnaflow or Corsa axlebacks or not.

I'd leave the resonaters on and remove the mufflers and go with muffler deletes, but I'm biased.

I love the Magnaflow ones, but to each his own.

I have also considered this but was unsure if it actually changed the loudness of the exhaust. If you know for sure it will make it louder i will probably do it. Like i said i like the sound just want it a bit louder.

And no there isnt much drone if any that i have noticed. The best thing to say is that it sounds a lot like stock just a hair louder and with a deeper tone.

High flow catted x or h pipe is all you need to make it louder.

Sounds a lot like what I would like to get. Sort of why I liked the Borla Touring.
