The funny thing is when I bought mine I had the dealership look for me a black one first. All the ones they found either had pending deals or were too far away. Mine was on their lot so they made me a deal I couldn't refuse.

I drove from Texas to Iowa to pick up mine. No one had a black on black within a 700 mile radius

Makes it possible to align the rear-end with the front-end thanks to Ford's genius decision of equipping the S197's with a three link suspension instead of IRS. :applause:

And this is needed mainly when lowering the car?

Yep! And installing wider tires. Its an easy install and bars run anywhere from 99.00 to 180.00

Absolutely, the stock panhard is set to factory suspension specs and nothing else. An adj panhard will make it possible to keep the rear-end aligned with the front. Regardless of what most other people are going to tell you, caster camber plates are absolutely vital to maintain spot-on alignment. People will say you can get away with "bolts" which is feasible with a lot of lowering springs on the market but when I called an alignment shop in town who specializes in Mustangs (owner has been owning and driving Mustangs non-stop since 67 and doesn't drive anything else) told me on a scale of 1-10, camber bolts would get me to about a 6 with my Sportline springs. A "6" with my style of driving wouldn't exactly be ideal for mine and other peoples' safety.

While we're on the subject, looking at the Eibach Pro kit details, it tells me it is OEM adjustable. If this is untrue, what should my shopping list include to properly lower my car? I want to do this right.

In my humble opinion? Springs, adj panhard bar, then either bolts, plates, or drilling "oval holes" where bolts go into.

I installed the prokit and my alignment was right on the money! No bolts or plates. My toe was off a bit but an adjustment took care of that

PHB is a must. As for the camber issue. In my opinion with lowering about 1 inch your going to get anywhere from -1.3 to -1.7 upfront. This is what I found in doing some research. Those settings at actually ideal for. DD/track car. If your car will not see a track every now and then, than camber bolts or plates are in your future. Camber bolts have a reputation of coming loose over time. Just get them and go to Firestone you pay once ($176) and have lifetime alignment. Then just take it in every 6 months

Can you do me a favor and take a picture of the rear bump stops. You can do it through the wheel spokes. I ask because I want to compare to mine after Steeda sports.

That's how training is done. I don't enjoy it, if that's what you're thinking.
