Coyote engine

I have a 2014 5.0L Ford Coyote engine that was remove from a totaled car with 7625 miles (I have the papers) that was hit from the rear. My plans was to build it and drop it in my sons Mustang. The engine is 1/4 ways ready for what I was planning to do with it. The engine head surface has been deck. Block Crank bore was check and balanced. New forged Connection rods and new pistons 10.5 to 1. Super charger ready. 2013 and 2014 was the only 2 years of the NASCAR engine piston spray nozzles (is pic). I have the complete engine. Will trade for guns ammo, car, motorcycles, and golf cart. What do you have? or $3500https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/themust...9e2ba8dd21.jpg

I thought 2011-2012 5.0 had the cooling jets and Ford removed them on the 2013-2014 5.0. Just a thought...….

maybe but for sure 2014 was the last year

I'm pretty sure '12 was the last year for cooling jets, there were removed in 13-14 cars and the engines got re-rated at 420hp. My '14 did not have them.

Well I was very happy to see them. The engine cam out of a 2014 Mustang GT. I was there the whole time the engine was being pull out, it took 3 people 25 minutes to remove the engine. I was told the all water pump pulleys that have 4 bolts are them are the ones with the cooling jets. Maybe Ford found some left overs engines blocks. Its a overkill anyway with those Manley Platinum Pistons with Moly Coated skirt will not let them get hot.

Just curious, why didn’t you continue with your original plan? Looks like a lot of potential fun.
