there are Camaro-focused forums out there like this one . . . I think "Camaro5" is one of the most popular; or at least it was last time I looked, which was back in 2010 or thereabouts . . . that would probably be a good place to get an answer to this question

Jegs, Summit Racing, JC Whitney, Pep Boys, O'Reillys, Advance Auto, NAPA, Chevrolet Performance or any local speed shop. Chevy Parts are everywhere Ford and Mopar have always been harder to find.

Chevy has it's own factory supported performance line of parts. I think what he'll find is that there is an enormous amount of support, both factory and aftermarket for the LS series engines and other drive line parts relative to the Coyote or 3rd.Gen Hemi, but when it comes to the entire car, nothing either foreign or domestic has the support that the Mustang enjoys. It just comes down to economics [ most things do ] parts manufactures and supply houses make and stock what sells the most. While it may vary in any given year, over time Ford has simply made and sold more Mustangs than Chevy has Camaros or Chrysler has their line of muscle/pony cars.

that's because chevy always needed aftermarket parts to keep up with ford for one and always needed a bigger motor to compete chevy needed a 350 to compete with the 289/302 and a 454 to compete with the 351..

oh well i have never been a chevy person or dodge person anyways but the new challenger made me think about my mustang purchase twice
