Cr3z-9j280-a
recently purchased 14 GT and want to upgrade intake to a Boss 302 manifold. Didn’t realize this line is unavailable indefinitely. Any work around or links to threads about work arounds would be appreciated.

From what I understand the Ford Performance intake (or also known as the Cobra Jet Intake) out performs the Boss Intake. I wonder if that is why the Boss has been discontinued?

As of March 5th is the last update from Ford was still going to be available once a supplier issue is resolved
I’m sure by now someone has come up with a work around, this part has been unavailable for quite awhile

guess I answered my own question

 

I contacted 27 websites showing it as available, guess calling a few more isn’t going to hurt

 

All 3 of the sites you posted shows the part discontinued, follow up calls confirm.

 

Sorry for the wild goose chase... Looked like they all it in stock.

Lethal Performance was available for order online. All I had to give them from here was a credit card, but it shows no ship date or arrival date... Probably don't have one either but maybe... Also appears that Steeda is still showing available. They must be expecting it to be available soon or they may have one.

Otherwise is the Ford Performance intake manifold still out there? Maybe an option if you can find one. Looks like it is a bunch more $$$. If not guess you will have to put a super charger on it.

Seems to be some confusion about what I’m looking for.
I have the intake already
Im looking for one of the pieces out of the “required” install kit, or a work around

The install kit part #Ford Performance M-9444-M50B
Kit Includes. The Ford Racing BOSS 302 Intake Manifold Installation Kit comes complete with fuel vapor hose (CR3Z-9G297-A), bracket (CR3Z-9G290-B), screw, fuel supply assembly and air inlet tube (CR3Z-9J280-A).


The above description reads a bit wrong and kinda looks like it is the air inlet tube which is actually a fourth piece with its own part number
CR3Z-9B659-B

The 3 parts in the kit are: Vapor hose, a little bracket, and a wiring harness

Have had time to do some more reading on threads about manifold and it’s starting to look like you can get by without any of it. Will call Steeda or LMR Monday to confirm
