Forged internals, sodium filled exhaust valves, different cams, higher rev-limit, track-key, split/side exhaust, high rise intake.

I thought the regular 5.0 had forged crank and rods but cast pistons? Hence the reason they hold boost so well.
The BOSS adds the forged pistons and sodium filled valves. |
exhaust cam have higher lift 13mm
exhaust valves are .8mm larger heads are mildly ported different intake manifold rods are heavier and stronger for 8k rpms valvetrain is lighter pistons are forged intake valves are lighter piston jets are removed oil cooler |
