My apologies - I had not seen this last post. Been gone a good chunk of the summer and I did not check the forums.

Did you figure out what pin type you needed? Did you get it working?

Great write-up, Thanks!

One thing I am curious about, is there anywhere to get power in the wheel without going through the clockspring connector? I'm just thinking it would be easier if there's a spot to tap into.

I have all my parts, can't wait to install everything!

The only place that would have constant power is the horn, I think. Not a good place to take power from.

I like that!

What are the chances you could make more?

Thanks Jim010! I could possibly make more spacers, unfortunately I don't really have the right tools to do it. I used a scroll saw to cut out the hole which worked but not very well. Went through a blade on each spacer. A different type blade might work better, not sure really. Ideally I would like the outside to match the shape of the shifter bezel but these will do for now.

I've always wanted paddles in mine, and now that my select shift buttons are starting to fail/annoy me more than normal, I'm planning to do this. Thanks for all the info! I understand most of it, though I'm having a hard time visualizing some of the later steps without putting eyes on it myself.

I'm sure I'll be back with plenty of questions during the install XD

Take a look at this thread from another forum.

The SelectShift button in my 2014 started acting up for the second time. The first time the dealer replaced the button under warranty, but my warranty has expired. In both cases the downshift worked fine but it became increasingly difficult to get it to upshift. I followed the instructions and used an eraser on mine (both the green contact plate and the round bits that contact it) and it is back to shifting flawlessly. I used small jeweler's screwdrivers and it was tedious, but I got it done.

Thanks! I might do this as a quick fix, provided it works, but I eventually want those paddles :P

How do you like the kit? Easy install? Have any issues that you have noted about that you can share? Thanks.

**** you JIM...

I THOUGHT I was done with this cluster / select-a-shift upgrade... Then you mumble about this... Originally I just discounted it because it was wireless and figured battery and stuff in the paddles... but now reading it... I guess I need to figure out how much the transmitter / receiver module is and go from there...

UGH - you are spending my money left and right! (thank you)

I still love mine!

They still work as they should, so no issues so far.

I was wondering if it would be possible to hard wire the paddles on a base car w/ sync (no track apps)? I can't seem to find a good wiring diagram though.

Track Apps is not needed. Just follow the instructions here. If you have the select shift, you can add paddles.

If you don't have select shift, then there is much more involved.

Finally got mine installed, they look great and are fun to use. Thanks for the thread jim010, would have never accomplished this without it.

Would someone make a video reviewing the paddles and their performance please?

Just wondering if anyone has hard wired the paddles yet, I would rather run the wiring than deal with transmitter/receiver modules.....
