Ride stiffness after Bilstein upgrade?
Hello, friends: I am thinking of this Bilstein suspension upgrade, if it's still made, but I am wondering what the review means when it talks about "feeling the road."
http://www.stangtv.com/tech-stories/...stein-bts-kit/ If that means shaking my teeth loose every time I hit a bump, I may just put the money in wheels and tires instead. I am coming from driving Lexus sedans for the last 15 years, and the 2010 GT I just acquired is my weekend fun car. I won't be doing any racing, LOL; I just love the lowered stance that supposedly results from the modification, which includes staggered wheels, and want the car to "float" a little less, if that's the right term, on the current factory suspension. Thanks. |

Bilsteins are pretty firm, think M3 ride quality. It also depends on the springs you choose. I think for what you're looking for, I'd do the Eibach Pro-Kit (springs and their shocks/struts) or a complete Steeda package with their shocks and struts too.

Thank you. Will take a look.
