brembo or no brembo
i only have so much money. i think im going to loose the brembo's, basic wheels, then either RTR rims or GT500 performance pack wheels.

I thought the same way, but decided to get them anyway. The rubber that comes with those alone are ~$350+ea. Plus the colour of the rims compliments the sterling gray imo. The RTR's are sexy as hell though.
Tough call |
yeah i know.

the thing that really piss's me off is that u have to get leather to get the shaker.

I didn't get the Brembos b/c they come with 255-wide summer-only tires, which are great except when it's cold, and I intend to drive my 5.0 year-round (unless it gets real bad), and don't want to have to keep a set of snow tires handy.
That said, the Brembo package is a decent value because it not only gets you bigger tires and 1/2-inch wider wheels (19x9" as opposed to 8.5") but it also provides a "Sport" setting for the ESC in addition to the on/off switch positions. Just pointing out all the little factors, hoping it helps. :) |
