Awaiting stripes...then i can take her home.
 

Here's a few pics of my new Base GB GT with my new 20" roush wheels.It is still awaiting the stripes to be put on(roush like RS1 stripes),rockers and hood(RS2),then when i get her home i'm adding the billet grille,the GT500 Spoiler,and the Roush side louvers and the rear panel blackout....Can't wait!:D

What color stripes?

White,with a drk gray metallic accent stripe...I should have more pics up this weekend:D

Well it turns out i will have to be keeping the stock spoiler on my Mustang.I went through the hastle of unbolting the original spoiler to find out that at the factory Ford also uses some kind of adhesive to bond the spoiler to the decklid,so i couldn't even get it off.So now i have to sell the spoiler cause i can't return it because it is a custom order(painted spoiler.

I will be installing the billet grille tomorrow.Unfortunately Cervini didn't offer any instructions at all,so i will have to figure that out on my own.

Sweet car!! Sorry about the wing. On your grill, who makes it? Most companies offer instructions on their website. If not the exact grill, might you find a pretty close one? Surely you can figure something out. Can't wait to see it after goodies are installed!

Go to the Roush site, it has instructions on the grille, and it is 3M tape on the spoiler, you can cut through it with fishing line. Cut up to the first stud and use a plastic wedge to raise the spoiler, fish the line under it right next to the stud and cut to the next, putting the wedge in to keep it up. Then use goof off or something like it to get the rest of the adhesive off.

Agreed on the 3M tape, you can get it off, just take your time.

Cervini makes the grille.I looked at the Roush grille installation guide and it seems to have all the parts necessary for the install.The Cervini grille has the grille,and 4 phillips head screws and that's it(no special clips)or anything else for that matter.Here's some pics with stripes and the Roush louvers installed.

I think the white stripes add a nice contrast to the Grabber blue and the dark gray rocker moldings,although i might have the white hood stripe removed.I was kinda going for the Roush RS1 striped look.it really "POPS".I like the side scoops on your Mustang,I may add those later.

Well here she is finally,just got done adding the GT500 spoiler,Cervini billet grille,blackout panel for the decklid.The stock spoiler removal wasn't as difficult as i thought it would be,i did have a few problems installing the grille though.Luckily i had a friend of mind help me with the installation.It required adding 4 "J" clips to the grille(which weren't provided).I have a Mustang emblem that will be added to the grille,but there were no clips or mounting bracket provided either,so i had to order special clips to mount the emblem(hasn't arrived yet).

I should have went with the Roush grille...oh well,live & learn i guess?

Thanks for the advice,I was able to use 18 guage steel wire to cut through the adhesive.The adhesive came off fairly easy with no chemical remover at all,it just took a little rubbing and it "balled up"on it's own.

Very Nice STANG. Please tell me about the ride with the Roush 20's, as your mustang is stock. I'm adding the Roush rims, it's just 18 or 20's.

Actually the ride is not much different if any from the ride on the 18" wheels.The Cooper RS3 Zeon tires have a decent side wall height to them,it's not like riding on rubber bands(LOL).The ride is comfortable,but i think it has more to do with the fact that the newer Mustang has coil springs in the front and rear unlike the 2005-2009 mustangs.

BTW,I'd go with the 20" Roush wheels,they are kinda pricey,but i like them alot and that's all that matters to me.Nitto makes some nice tires with the same size and rating as the Cooper Zeon tires,but for alot less money.

I do like the 20's with Cooper RS3. I was hearing the ride would be bad, don't do it. Go with 18's. I so glad I saw your post. I also have stock suspension. I will look for the best price. Thanks, the 20's will be the finishing touch for me.

BTW,When i ordered the 4 Roush wheels and tires,($2,550),that also included TPMS sensors,balancing,etc.Because i live less than 25 miles from the Roush parts warehouse i was able to pick them up myself.When and if you order The Roush wheel and tire combo they will be shipped on a wooden pallet.So you might want to have them shipped to a place that has a Hi-low,cause they can only be shipped by truck freight.

I bought mine from RS3 motorsports(blue oval industries),but it doesn't matter which vendor you order from,they will still ship directly from Roush in Livionia Michigan.
