Do you guys know if the NASCAR race at Rockingham Speedway on the 1st August counts towards total points? I am very unsure!
All I know is that they wanted 24 late model convertible mustangs to drive the drivers (and female models) around the track for a parade lap. GUESS WHAT? Mine will be one of them! :banana:

It would be so cool if they are televising it in the states, I could be famous!! :-D

EDIT: Apparently it is the "Days of Thunder" Series? any ideas??

I checked 2004 Nextel cup, Busch, or craftman's truck race schedules and none show a race at Rockingham on Aug 1st weekend. Only race I'm aware of in Rockingham was the on Feb 22nd weekend, and that was Rockingham, North Carolina, USA.

Never heard of "days of thunder series"

C/T = Cool!!

I think the series is comparable to our ASA series. I know they only use (or did use, not sure about this year) the 5.7 Chevy engine for all cars. (Like the ASA series.)

BTW - NASCAR has bought the rights to CASCAR (Candian). We may be seeing NASCAR North of the border very soon.
