Least Popular Color, Rare, or Too New?

I think I must be the only person who posts to this forum. Is Brilliant Silver unpopular, rare (with limited 2009 production), or just too new for there to be a critical mass? Personally, I always liked the silver 2005-2009 mustangs, but was drawn to Windveil Blue the first time I saw it. I think the new Brilliant Silver pops and looks great with the glass roof. For several reasons, I have decided to upgrade from an '07 to an '09 and Windveil Blue is no longer an option. I'm not sure it would have looked good with a glass roof anyway.

So what are your thoughts, Brilliant Silver or ? I've made my choice.

I've never seen brilliant silver in person that I know of. To tell the truth I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Brilliant and Vapor. I am not silver savy on my Mustangs.

My salesman felt the same way. If they are side by side, Brilliant is more white while Vapor has more of a smokey color to it. I didn't think I'd like Vapor until I saw it in person. With the glass roof and charcoal interior, it looks sharp. It was just a little too dark for my taste.

I think it's still too new and, let's face it, you are never going to see as many silver Mustangs as you would red Mustangs. That's part of the appeal. You made the right color choice; especially for a glassroof car.

You're not the only one, I just purchased an 05gt brilliant silver last week and love it. Silver to me, has always been 1of my top 3 fav colors on a car. Black and white being the other 2. But I think silver is slick looking.

Good luck with your swap. If you are getting a glass top, you will love it! That is one of my favorite options. Really like the way it brightens the interior and has a bigger feel than without. Love to look up and see the sky or the stars. Kinda the best of a coupe and a convertible. As to color, silver is a very sharp car, I prefer the darker colors so I have Sterling Gray Metalic. The silver would much easier to keep looking clean.
