My Vapor GT 500
 

Just wanted to show off some pics of my Vapor GT500. Stock for now, but not for long. Just as soon as the wallet recovers from the down payment.......who knows where it will end. Mannn thats SLICK. I dont think ive seen one in that color yet. Looks great with the chrom wheels. Awesome car!

Don't take this the wrong way cause if you like the car that way then perfect. But me personally, I don't like the black stripes on that color. White would have looked much better. even though that is eleanor colors.

So how do you like it? How's the handling and ride?

Not taken personally. I really like it though. To me it's just about perfect. One thing that really looks good to me is the way the black stripes match the totally blacked out grille. The only other color choice I might have picked wasn't available on a coupe for 08. White/red stripes (it was a special end of year combo on 07's)

It handles and rides great. More fun than any car I have ever had. Not as much of a rush as my other toy speed wise, but still overall fun.

Congrats. I really like it. I like the black stripes on the silver. I'm not a fan of the white stripes unless its a vista blue or torch red car. Enjoy it. And 5 to 7 trains a week is still 5-7 too many for me to park on the tracks.

Dave your car is perfect, hope you will enjoy it. As for stripe color I like the black, But I have seen a vapor GT500 with alloy stripes and that looked really nice too.

I haven't yet, but I will. I go to Steele just about every weekend If I'm not working, but I'm there racing my BBF powered dragster.

Post up when you take the GT500. When do you race the dragster? On Saturdays?

Will do. I race on Saturdays with the dragster. I will most likely race this weekend. Steele is having 2 races Sat and 2 more on Sunday. Each pays $3K to win in Pro and $1K in sportsman. I'll be there Sat, but may not race Sunday. Might have to work.

I saw your car at 1st Friday last night. We ate at Jefferon's then walked around to look at cars. I was getting some lemonade when you drove by on your way out. I didn't get a chance to make it all the way to that end of Broad St.

Who has the white GT500? Do you have any pics of them together at the show?

The white Shelby GT that was with us is another friend. Tim Meyer of Southside.

Man, thats a nice looking car!!! Wish I was back home to meet up with you guys sometime!! I guess most people would freak when that train goes down the middle of the street if they've never been to Gadsden!!
