SUPERCAR SUNDAY - 6/26/11 - Los Angeles meet/show/and possible cruise
 

Once a month a bunch of Mustang owners get together and roll to Woodland Hills for Supercar Sunday, http://www.supercarsunday.com/ . The big one and main one is the last Sunday of each month. Its going to be a huge turnout and alot of fun. Each month has a theme and this months theme is going to be "Ford GT, Shelby, Cobra", so we will be with our elements. You will see alot of wild cars. We are going Sunday, the 26th of June, but need to go early as the show parking lot will fill fast with hundreds and hundreds of cars. Last time we went, Jay Leno came by and took some photos with us by our cars. Some of us meet in West LA at Bad News Bears Park and roll in together nso we can park together as well:

between 6:30 - 7:00 and gone before 7:15 am. We'll roll out together for a small drive to event or you can meet there if its closer that way for you:

ONCE THERE, WE NEED TO RESPECT THE RULES OF THE ORGANIZERS. RESPECT OTHERS AND YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO DRIVE IN YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR, OR WE WILL NOT BE WELCOME ANYMORE. The organizer asks us to put this in any info about the show as it gets to be an extremely large show with many cars. He uses a parking lot of a mall and if we cause problems, they will kick us out of the mall parking and LAPD can come and shut it down as well as ticket people.

We'll hang out for a few hours and those who want to cut out, can and others often join up with a group and drive through the canyons for a scenic route and spirited curves to the beach. I, unfortunately cant cruise after but we can arrange a group before so a plan can be made up. Head North to Neptunes or anywhere along. Try and join if you can. Again, I know its last minute.

Thanks for the invite! I'm kind of confused on which Sunday you are talking about. I know it's the last Sunday of the month but it sounds like you are planning for this weekend?

I just picked up my ride 2 weeks ago as well and havent gotten my plates either.
been working on her so she doesnt look stock anymore but it still has that new car smell LOL :nice:

Thanks :-) been away from the mustang community for about 5 years, but glad to be back home. I've been a mustang fan since I was a little kid.

Well, turns out I couldn't pick up my ride this last weekend, but will definitely be getting her next saturday the 25th. The dealer is about 200 miles from my place so had to make arrangements to get up there. I'm good to go now, but probably won't have any time to do any mods before Sunday. But who know, last car I had exhaust, window tint and springs installed the first day. haha.

BTW. Any recommendations on a good shop in OC/LA for suspension, engine mods, etc. ?? Prefer someone that specializes in Mustangs and Shelbys, but as long as they are pro's it doesn't really matter.

There will be a few guys in our group that have GT500's that have many things done with alot of experience. One has air ride in his as well. Looking for ward to meeting you.
