how does the black plastic window frame come off ?
On the drivers side I`ve got a leak when I park up hill and I see something in between it and the body of the car.

My 07 had that same issue. Ford had to pull the trim and replace that foam sealant. Not sure how to pull the trim section. Mine never leaked there though.

window frame fix

This is a simple fix...just carefully pull off or down the rubber window gasket attached to the roof and you will see several screws that hold the black window trim in place. Pull the trim back and reseal the area with foam and silicone sealer and reassemble. I fixed my dreaded water leak this way as the water was running down into the passenger floor following the A pillar. There is a TSB on this as well if you get stuck.
