I am trying to see if anyone has expierienced a shop or a dealer and gotten a quote for the stepper motor relacment for the s197's. I have seen plenty of how-tos etc, but for the stepper motors, I dont think that I am going to do it myself. I am trying to get an expected price that people have roughly gotten. I live in New Jersey if anyone knows any place around the state. I have the GT with six steppers.

Look on ebay for people that will do the replacement for you - you ship the IP to them. I bought the motors off ebay for $25 and did it myself.

 

This place here does it for $150. They use better quality stepper motors. Downside is you have to remove the bezel and send it to them. But they guarantee to do the fix and ship back out in 1 day.
