Location of upstream O2 sensors ?

Can anyone tell me exactly where the O2 sensors are located on the S197 Stangs?

You da man, thanks!

Oh dang,

there are 3 upstream sensors?

If the sensor is actually in the cat, is it considered upstream or downstream?

Still a bit unclear on that.

Upstream sensor(s) are between exhaust manifold and catalytic converter. Downstream sensor(s) are after catalytic converter. The upstream sensor is responsible for primary fuel control and the downstream sensor(s) after the catalyst are used to monitor catalyst efficiency.
