Well I went and installed the s&t lowering springs from American muscle along with some wheels and a slp loudmouth axle back. Car looks and sound great... But unfortunately when I went to go drive it the front end now had a clunk over bumps.
Everything I have read say to check sway bar end links and the strut mount. I noticed that when tightening the sway bar end link that the bushing is torn.

So I have to replace it anyway an I got some replacement end links. I also ordered some strut mounts. So basically I have to re do the whole front spring install again. I have read that a loose sway bar end link can cause a clunk, I went in and tightened with a breaker bar though so I don't thinks it's loose. Anyway other help or suggestions is appreciated. I also plan on trying to bounce the car
Manually to try and re create the noise

 

Bounced the car manually and the noise is only passenger side so ill start there. Hopefully the issue is on one side of the car only

 

Might as well replace both sides.

 

yeah i wouldnt replace one side with out doing the other. front suspension is very sensitive 2 stuff like that when it comes 2 the alignment.

 

Bought parts for both sides. Replaced sway bar end links. And strut mounts. Sway bar end link on passenger side was the culprit

 

NYGMEN, I guess you found the problem. I swapped my suspension a month ago and had clunking afterwards and I guess I didn't tighten up the strut links enough and I had clunking.

I also had a vibration at speeds over 30mph and rattling. That all went away when I swapped the front LCAs. I feel like my 06 is better than new now, when I go around sharp turns it feels like I'm on rails.

On another note my son in his Acura tried to make a sharp turn and ended up on the sidewalk with a bent LCA. So much for imports.

A damaged bushing or loose bolt will definitely cause some clunking noises. It sounds like you already got it all figured out and are ready to go! Please let me know if you have any further questions or need some assistance in the near future.
