Welcome,

A Little Backstory Would Be Helpful Such as was Pcm Replaced Because of Current Issue??

The Fusebox Being Coaxed is That the SJB in Passenger Lower Kick Panel??

If So Maybe a Water Intrusion Issue and it is Not Always Real Obvious!

Also How Did You Figure Out Kick Fix/ Repair??

Do You Have a Scanner Capable of Reading DTC Codes & Body Codes?? If Not Many Parts Houses Can Scan For Free & if a Code and or Codes are There it Could Be Helpful.

welcome to the forum

have you ever noticed any signs of water intrusion on the passenger side, such as wet or stinky carpet?

Backstory

So yes the pcm was replaced due to my car dying while I was driving. Before the pcm was replaced my car died while driving and I had it towed in and the mechanic replaced some fuses and said it was all good. Drove it that night the next morning it would not start. Towed it back to the shop the mechanic ran a diagnostic on it and nothing showed up. So they said it was the PCM and replaced it. OK so now is doing the exact same thing where it just dies randomly while I’m driving it. And if I kick the fuse panel inside on the passenger side it will start right back up. And the reason I knew how to do that was because I’ve had two other Mustangs that gave me the exact same problem and I have never had any water issue in my car like I’ve never had water in my floorboard. I’ve never had a wet floorboard. I’ve never had any signs of any water anywhere in this car. And yes, I have had another diagnostic ran on it and yes, I’ve took it to AutoZone and O’Reillys and they hooked it up and no codes are being thrown.

water intrusion causes problems with the SJB (Smart Junction Box, the fuse box that is under the passenger side dashboard) .... if you haven't had any water intrusion that probably isn't the cause, but I still suspect the SJB

I believe there are some threads on here about how to remove the SJB and check it for issues; I think I would start there, lacking any other clues

Welcome,

I Sense Your Frustration and it Sounds Like You Have Been Chasing it Fairly Well. Be advised You May Not Have any Serious Evidence of Water Intrusion But it Only Takes a Little To Corrode a Connection And The SJB Has a Lot of Them. Since it Comes Back To Life When it's Kicked There, it is Plenty Suspect.

See Link on a 2010-2014 Model For What I am Talking About. Could Be Corroded or Simply a Box Going Bad. With No Codes All We Can Do is Make an Educated Guess. If it Were Mine I Would Remove SJB and Clean With Electrical Contact Cleaner all Contacts & See if That Does It. A Glean of The Entire Thread I'm Linking My Shed Some Light. IF You Need To Replace Unit You Will Need to Have a Used Unit and Have it Reprogrammed To Work Correctly. Always a Bunch on Ebay. You Need a Unit With Same Number as Your Old One For Best Results. Number Should Be Recorded During Cleaning If You Go Down That Road.

If You Need Assistance To Find a Good Used One Shoot Me The ID# Number When You get it or Send Me Your Vin and I Can get Number That Way!

Anyhoo, That is My Best Advice at This Point & Time.
