O6 mustang GT tranny won't go in drive or reverse. Put tranny from another 06 mustang GT that was just wrecked and rolled but tranny doing the same. No drive , no reverse.

I'm guessing that maybe the problem lies in the shifter -- if it won't go in to Drive or Reverse. Or it might be in the electronics/controls -- has to be something that is common to both the new and old transmission.

I am not sure, but also wanted to give you another reply in hopes of keeping the thread moving, hoping that someone who knows more will chime in. The manual pages that KC posted should help, if nobody can narrow it down any better for you.
