RCMC Dyno Day.
This post is an offshoot of the V6 Dyno Sheet, where a discussion began about a Dyno day at Trackmasters in Huntsville.
After discussing the issue with a fellow RCMC member, it was discussed that perhaps I should have those whom are seriously interested list their dates that will not work. Then we can select a day that works for all, rather than select day, after day, only to exclude a different member each time.
With that being said here are my NO GO days/ Times
2 June, 23 June and 4th of July weekend.
Weekdays- before 1700 aka 5 pm.
Just to recap, here are a few bits of info from the original:
Here's the deal. 5 Cars or more here is pricing.
It is a dynojet 224X dyno.
Baseline: $40 for 3 pulls, + $10 if you want O2 readings. If you do 1 pull, 2 pulls or 3 pulls it's still $40.
*Tuning: $80 per hour, plus $10 for O2 readings. It is for one hour block of time, if you get in 2 pulls or 7, it doesn't matter
* this is with your tuning device. i.e predator etc.
He does accept cash, credit - except American express
For baselines he can do about 3 cars per hour.
For O2 readings he can do a sniffer in the tailpipe which he said may read from .02 to .5 LEAN (which is better than rich) , if you have an extra O2 bung or if you have your rear O2's disabled he can put a probe in there for a more accurate reading.
I have no idea if the pricing gets cheaper with more cars. I didn't ask, in my experience setting up dyno days, tons say they will be there but none show up.
Please reconfirm your interest on this thread, with your blackout dates!!!!!

Elon and I are still interested. Anytime before the 30th works well for us.
As for weekdays, we work right down the street and have flexible work hours so we can be there at any hour during the week. We've actually talked about trying to get some dyno time before work but haven't checked so see what time they open.

I still haven't heard back from Arthur from Trackmasters. I don't know if he doesn't want to tell me that he's not willing to work late or if he's slammed with work.
As of now, we have VV, Mberglo, 96TennGT + his pal, and myself = 5 cars!!
I'll call and set up a date/time.

No day yet, he never answers the phone. I leave a message and he calls me back, but he hasn't called back yet.
I'll have to touch base with him again in the morning to see if we can get a day.
As far as the pricing goes, perhaps they didn't have as many cars...

do you have an exact address? (you know I'm new around here) and what are the time slots, can we set up and pick? I'll be there....hopefully my new exhaust will be here by or before then. btw....you got a pm.
