RCMC Christmas Dinner/Party
Hey Gang,
I guess we'll be hearing about the Christmas Party soon.
I'll be at the Christmas Party and I will be bringing a guest. I look forward to seeing you all.

I haven't been getting any emails on the subject. I briefly heard Mike discussing the event at the parade though.
Could we get some details posted, or if somebody could PM/email the particulars?

I believe a brochure with all the details will be forthcoming.
It was not posted here because it is a BOD/Officer issue. If you don't like the outcome then you are more then welcome to run for an office next time elections roll around or volenteer to take charge of the Christmas party.

The way it reads to me; If you don't like it, too bad, you're not on the BOD or in charge of it.
1) I already knew that.
2) What I was asking was Where? when?....pretty simple, and I don't feel that is a taboo question to ask.
If I'm Waaay off base, then disregard, if not, then feel free to PM me and we can discuss this further.
Note: I found in the newsletter that it will be held Dec 18th.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? I was just asking a question, maybe i'm still not awake and not reading your response the way you meant it.

This is where the confusion comes from for Gary.
I have received no "flood" of emails and have no idea why I would be thanking the president.
I know of no plans at this time for the party.
For BOD discussions, this is not a good place.

I have been working all the dinner/party issues and have one last issue to handle before the flyer goes out to RCMC members. Bottomline is the dinner/party is 18 Dec. Member plus one (read spouse/friend/etc...). Additional guests welcome at a compensatory charge. Buffet style menu with cash bar available. All other details will, again, be in the flyer and all members will get it soonest.
RSVP is required by 11 Dec. so I can give a final count to the caterer. Getting the room, food, etc. was not easy since this is different than previous years. Cost is a driver, as well as trying to satisfy most persons wants (i.e. alcohol, location, etc.) Many details were discussed with officers and BoD "behind the scenes" so as to make it the best possible.
All will be good.

Someone should wrap a pack of lug nuts and a wrench for Matthew (the Eleanor).
Also, Mustang Dave, the seating arrangement at the dinner/party has you with WWII Vets....also, the Johnson High choir will be directly behind your seat. Okay with that?
