It actually wouldn't come on most of the time. The switch was getting stuck. But ever since taking the light out it has ran good.

You've got the little plastic switches in the door, that relaease when the door opens. That might have something to do with it. Also arent some of your fuses messed up?

Those are what I am talking about. None of my fuses are messed up, 1 is missing because I don't need it.

Well no more working good. It flooded in the school parking lot and then the battery went again. Just got home maybe 5 minutes ago.

take the battery to az and i can check it for you tonight
it might ber a bad cell,
you should be able to crank that battery for a good 10 minutes before it goes low enough to die out

I meant the carb flooded. Just got back from O'Reillys and the alternator was bad and the battery was good. So I just got a new alternator.

Didn't you put a new carb on recently? Ever heard of the 'Redneck Alternator Test'? With the engine running, remove one of the battery connections, if the vehicle continues to run the alternator is good! CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not a recommended procedure. I witnessed this from the driver's seat a long long time ago. Subject removed battery cable for a 'RAT' and he saw a bright light. He said he wasn't sure if he saw a blue flash from the explosion, or the blue top of the battery that hit him in the head. Yes the alternator was good. Apparently the battery was leaking and the spark created when the battery cable was removed ignited the hydrogen. kennyg

Put a remanufactured carb on back in July. It usually has problems when it rains for some reason. Going to wait until tomorrow to drive it. Going to get a longer belt for the pulleys.

Sounds like you are having an ignition problem when there is high humidity, therefore you flood out because the fuel isn't getting burned. I had a 6 cylinder '65 that wouldn't start one night. I had driven out to Madison and it ran fine, rained for several hours while I was there, then wouldn't start. Turned out the spark plug wires were cheap or broken down and had too much resistance. Replaced them with a good quality Autolite set and it ran fine the remainder of my ownership. Even though you may have semi 'new' wires on your Stang, they may be your culprit. Even if they are 'lifetime' warranty parts, take them back to the store where you bought them and get your money back and go purchase some good wires. kennyg

When he put his 2bbl on, the adapter raised it up to where he was unable to fit a breather on under the hood. Also his stock breather for the old 1bbl wouldnt attach to the new 2bbl anyways.
