Indian Camp Creek Automotive?

Saw this shop -

Indian Camp Creek Automotive in Florence - it was listed in the Mustang Monthly guide to shops and services this month

The summary says the shop is owned by James M. Goode. In business over 10 years. Specializes in vintage Mustang repair and modification, mainly mechanical. Expertise with '64 1/2 - '66 Mustangs, but does work on all Ford vehicles.

I had never heard of it.

Hadn't heard of it either. 10 years seems like a newbie in this hobby these days. I've been doing Mustang repairs since my first one in 1986, when I was 17 years old. 24 years of experience. Maybe I should open a shop.

Whoa. My first was in '78.

Mark, if you and I opened a shop we could say we have 56 years of experience!

I was sorta thinking the same thing - I just wondered if this was someone we knew who had worked on the olders cars for a while, but only had a shop for 10 years -
And how do you get listed for free in Mustang Monthly Magazine?

And BTW - Ralphie - I have you beat by a year - 1977

My first was in 1977 too - a Lime Green '69 Coupe. The owner (a guy down the street) couldn't get it to start, so sold it in frustration for $350. With my dad's help, we figured out it was a bad coil wire - about $2 worth of parts got it running. Sold it for $600 and thought I had made out like a bandit!
