Deb's home from the hospital
She got home this afternoon around 3:30. They doc let her go because her temp had stablized. She still has a bad cough, I'm thinking it's from the fluid on her lungs. We're trying to get her in to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. The doctor here said he could do nothing else for her. Deb wants to fight this. Guys, she's not in good shape. I'm trying to keep her possitve, along with myself. Everybody please keep your fingers and toes crossed and hope we can get her to Texas.
Thank you again for all your prayers, they mean alot.

Hey, Skip.
Please feel free to give me a call, a holler, or anything else you need.
If I can take care of anything at your house while y'all are gone...
And you are very welcome to borrow my convertible.
*grin*
Give her hugs and love from us.

Well, MD Anderson called Deb on Thursday, wouldn't you know it was the only day she's been by herself since leaving the hospital, and told her there was nothing they could do for her. Not to give up hope we are looking back into the Cancer Center o America out in Tulsa and anywhere else we can think of. She's been doing ok except for some stomach pain which is from the cancer. She took a morphine pill yesterday morning to help with the pain, it worked, but she slept and did not feel that great so she said no more to them. I'll keep you posted if we hear anything else.

I tihnk the drugs when I had all of my surgeries are the worse part. I would take one to stave off the pain, and the next I knew, the day was gone. I would be so groggy I could not even watch any tv. I would just nap on and off all day. So I got an idea of what she feels as far as sleeping and missing the day.
Both of you stay strong, remember there are plenty of folks pulling and praying for both of you.
