have y'all ever done a cruise or anything? I've missed like three due to drill, and was wondering if anyone had any interest in doing one.

I know HSV Racing had 1. Where would we cruise to though? I would do it.

franklin?....or nashville?

we had the huntsville car scene cruise to shelbyville a few years ago .. it went well ..cept for a brief encounter with a barney fife wannabe in fayettenam ..

lol yeah i was going on the HSV racing one, but drill interrupted that.

How about up to Falls Mill then over to Lynchburg to the Jack Daniels Distillary? I'm free Saturday if anyones up for the drive. **** the gas prices!

my grandma took me on a cruise when i got out of school. it was awesome we drank so much i dont remember it.

i'll be headed to US41 dragway on the 28th for the day then headed back on Sunday going to try to have a mustang forums get together, but it's an 8 hour drive

Keep in mind this is a club. If you want a driving event, volunteer to put one together and invite everyone. You don't have to wait for someone else to do it. Just make sure to involve the club officers in your plans to make sure the club sanctions your event.

As mentioned in an earlier post, I had put together (minus the date) a cruise which would start near Winchester/Moore's Mill and go to Falls Mill for our (RCMC) first stop. It's really a neat place if you haven't been there. They provide an "interesting" backwoods map that ends up just blocks away from Jack Daniels. Very scenic and curvy drive. After the JD tour, we'd go to the town square for bbq and shopping before dispursing.

Problem was that gas went thru the roof and while many folks said "go for it", many other members complained about fuel costs. Initially, I postponed the event but now think we should just do it. Back to the date issue now......will query members via e-mail about date possibilities.
