What do you mean you wanted a GTO as your first car? Everybody wants a Mustang as their first car. Somebody revoke his club membership. HAHAHAHAHA

He really is a poser! He actually wanted a ricer. I copied this text from the link he provided in his sig. kennyg

"The reason i bought this Mustang was because my parents wouldn't let me get a Honda Civic right away. I turned 15 a few months before i bought the Mustang. I had been searching around and planning to build a ricer, but due to my parents wasnt able to. "

Oh, man, Jake, you've crushed my respect for you....

Just think in another 10 years how much your Mustang will be worth, versus how much a riced Civic would be worth.

This is your brain:

This is your brain on drugs:

Any questions???

Its ok though, the first car I ever wanted was my aunt's red Ford Probe. Flip up headlights are really quite impressive when you're 4 years old

No it is true. I did want a GTO. Then when I found out they were too expensive I went to the ricers. I have 2 GTO posters, a 65 GTO diecast, and then 6 other GTO models. Only have 2 mustang models, and 1 ricer model.

Pics are blurry. Took pics with phone.

more. First pic they are the blue one, gray one, and red/black one.

I will admit I didn't want a mustang and never thought about one until I found the 67.

The irony is that the Probe almost was the Mustang, then they stuck a GT badge on it. You didn't know any better, Jake was 15! Confession: I had a '76 CVCC, that a buddy gave me because it had a slight head gasket leak, got 50 MPG, and even drove it to an RCMC picnic at Ditto Landing! You RCMCer's that have been around forever probably remember that Ralley/Picnic, my little brother showed up in a '74 Barracuda that he had borrowed from me to use as a daily driver. I bought the Barracuda for $350 running and driving with an aluminum intake and 4 barrel. I remember going to the Wavaho in Hazel Green in the CVCC and buying $1 in gas. The lady working there said 'you're not going far'. I said 'to Huntsville and back'! kennyg

50mpg is awesome hahahaha

And I know the probe story, and I'm very glad it didnt actually happen and that we kept ouor V8 RWD awesomeness

Also, I would still like to have that probe, just cuz :P To add more fuel to the fire I LOVED both the Mazda proteges our family had. both small I4s, autos, FWD, boring, but for some reason they both had some interesting character. hehehe i love beater cars

Here's a couple of pics of the 73 Mach 1 I post about earlier. We stopped by Sunday and talked to the owner, and he said he would sell this car and another 73 Mach 1 for $1000. This Mach has tachs mounted in the dash and the other Mach as the fold down rear seat. We haven't seen the other Mach but this one needs a lot of work, he said the other mach's body is in better shape. From the pictures does anyone think this would be a doable project and worth saving these cars? Also take in mind my dad and I have zero knowledge when it comes to cars, but he is an ironworker and extremely skilled with metal.

Sorry about the size of the images there coming off my phone.

Speaking, of which, a couple of real fuzzy shots of a stock GTO in the Antelope Valley Mall in Palmdale, California I saw Monday night. This thing had junk in it as a daily driver.
