TPMS relearn process

I'm new here, but full of hope!

I've been following various forums/posts on this subject for the last 8 months and STILL have a problem.

Wheels were refurbed and all was fine (original band sensors fitted). Rear left needed to be redone so tyre back off etc. But the band snapped and I needed a new sensor. Long story short due to unavailability of original sensors, I bought a Smart Sensor pro+ in the UK from a tyre place in Hampshire.

It has never worked - Tire sensor fault message every start up. They swear blind it is compatible, have programmed it for '08 Mustang, it is 315 Mhz. NOTHING! Do the press brake, on-off routine god knows how often - NOTHING!

HELP!!!!

You need the programmer to sync it to the computer after you get in programming mode (brake, key on 3 times, etc)
