315 BHP - 12%= @ 277 RWHP Stock my regular GT was 271 RWHP advertised at 300 BHP. By the math it s/b 264 and some cars are. I'm sure Bullitts have variation too. |
Well, mine sure feels stronger than 277rwhp. Perhaps I got a higher one. Or maybe I'm just getting older..........

Opps I forgot the web site:(

At home worrying about horse power. :wonder:

I'd be surprised at a 277 rwhp dyno unless 93 octane makes that much difference as Fords has hinted but not substanciated.
5.0 Mustang & Super Fords had the Bullitt dyno at 264.9 rwhp / 5,500 rpms. I suppose several dyno runs took place and the best would be the one reported. |
288 rwhp.
Maybe it was a cold day with out a correction factor |

Maybe it was a cold day with out a correction factor 288 RWHP would be just about right. With STD correction and tune with CAI (K&N, similar to Bullitt) mine makes 293 RWHP A cold day without correction the Bullitt will make even more than 288. Mine clocked 298 RWHP at 50 degrees in the garage. |
This would be a good time for the Bullitt and the Shelby GT to have a shootout.
